Our environmental policy sets out our commitment to conducting our business in a manner that protects the environment, supports ecologically sound and sustainable use of resources, minimizes waste and prevents pollution.  We evaluate operational activities for environmental risk and put adequate safeguards in place to prevent harm before we commence our activities.  Preserving the environment is at the heart of our business model.  We must continually reduce the impact of our operations to optimize the use of natural resources, minimize waste and prevent pollution.  

We need energy to support our Asset Management services, and we are committed to optimizing our energy footprint and the associated carbon profile of our day-to-day operations.  We recognize that managing our energy usage and reducing carbon emissions is fundamental to our viability, prosperity, and responsibility as a good corporate citizen.  CY2021 will be a year of transformation with a new set of sustainability goals as well as improvements to our data collection process.  As part of our approach, we will continue to target energy efficiency opportunities for our warehouse energy footprints and transportation activities.  

During CY2020, a CSG Environmental Impact Dashboard was developed to track the environmental aspects of electricity, natural gas, the carbon footprint, water, and waste on a Monthly and Annual basis.  Goals & Targets were established to monitor & measure performance for 2021 based upon our 2020 baseline performance for each of these aspects.  Environmental Management Action plans for improvement have been developed and implemented for each of our 2021 Environmental Targets.
